PARENTS: Flu vaccines are now in!

You do not need an appointment but would still need to call from the parking lot when you arrive for this nurse visit.

Children younger than 5 years old–especially those younger than 2– are at higher risk of developing serious flu-related complications. A flu vaccine offers the best defense against flu and its potentially serious consequences and also can reduce the spread of flu to others. Getting vaccinated against flu has been shown to reduce flu illnesses, doctor’s visits, missed work and school days, and reduce the risk of flu-related hospitalization.

Covid-19 Update – 9/22/21

Thank you for your patience as we address your calls and experience an unprecedented need for sick appointments. Most pre-schools/schools are now requiring Covid testing and/or medical clearances if your child is experiencing any number of symptoms found in most respiratory viruses. Do not send your child to school or bring them to the office if their test results are pending or if anyone in your immediate household has test results pending.

COVID-19 Update – 9/7/21

Parents: Please do not bring your child to the office if they have COVID-19 test results pending or if anyone in the household has COVID-19 test results pending. We continue to follow federal, state, and local public health official recommendations and mandatory masks are required and enforced throughout your visit with us.

COVID-19 Vaccine Availability

Dearborn Pediatrics will be providing the COVID-19 vaccine in the near future. Meanwhile we encourage all parents to get your child (age 12 and older) immunized at your local health department or pharmacy. Do not delay this very important immunization!
