PARENTS: Flu vaccines are now in!

You do not need an appointment but would still need to call from the parking lot when you arrive for this nurse visit.

Children younger than 5 years old–especially those younger than 2– are at higher risk of developing serious flu-related complications. A flu vaccine offers the best defense against flu and its potentially serious consequences and also can reduce the spread of flu to others. Getting vaccinated against flu has been shown to reduce flu illnesses, doctor’s visits, missed work and school days, and reduce the risk of flu-related hospitalization.

PARENTS:

Thank you for your patience as we address your calls and experience an unprecedented need for sick appointments.

Most pre-schools/schools are now requiring Covid testing and/or medical clearances if your child is experiencing any number of symptoms found in most respiratory viruses.

To expedite your child’s medical clearance many places offer drive through nasal swab (antigen) testing and/or PCR testing with same day results for those children who are experiencing mild symptoms.

We would require a copy of the test results in order to provide the medical clearance.

Do not send your child to school or bring them to the office if their test results are pending or if anyone in your immediate household has test results pending.

Our staff continue to work diligently addressing your calls and concerns.
